Finishing Vs. Finishing Well

The weekly Sunday morning sermon delivered by Rev. James Wiles

“When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”

‭‭John‬ ‭19:30‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭ESV‬‬

----

1. The person that finishes well, refuses to compromise his or her convictions because it is the majority viewpoint.

2. The person who finishes well, takes God at His Word, no matter if circumstances seem to be painting a different picture.

3. The person who finishes well, runs the race until you cross the finish line.
